About Frontenac, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Frontenac owes its name to the original owners of the land whereon the current city′s central district is located. Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Wood were frequent visitors to, and very much taken with, Quebec and the charming qualities of its Chateau Frontenac. Accordingly, they adopted its name for their property in suburban St. Louis. After several cycles of development and a period as a village, Frontenac assumed its present form in 1950.
Today, the city is a prosperous one. With one acre residential lots and an affluent community, Frontenac maintains its rural roots in conjunction with a crime rate of less than one third the national average. Comprising a total area of less than three square miles, the city provides a cosy and extremely desirable environment in which to live.
The Van Dyke home, completed in 1854, was built as an homage to the classic French chateau and its gorgeous mid–19th century style makes for a delightful destination drive. Residents of Frontenac enjoy a comfortable climate with temperatures throughout the year varying between extremes of 20 and 90.
